Ruchi has always been inspired by amazing food and beautiful art, finding the ability to inspire and transport people through these simple mediums always struck-a-chord. Learning to cook from her mother, she developed a deep passion for culinary arts from a young age and learned old household cooking techniques.
Over the past decade, Ruchi has built a wealth of experience in the food and catering industry. She launched an events and catering business, hosted live cooking workshops, conducted online classes and training, started a made-to-order takeaway service, and worked at a renowned luxury spa resort. During this time, she honed her skills and developed exciting, inspiring recipes, preparing her for the next chapter.
In November 2023, Ruchi fulfilled her dream of owning a restaurant by purchasing The Beehive. Recognizing its excellent reputation, character, picturesque location, and impressive accolades, she knew it was the perfect venue for her vision. She transformed it into Milaanj at The Beehive, offering modern British Indian dishes inspired by a multicultural ethos.
