Ruchi has always been inspired by amazing food and beautiful art; the ability to inspire and transport people via these simple medias always struck-a-chord. After an initial career as a Marketing and Sales Manager, Ruchi couldn’t ignore her passion anymore and felt she had to pursue a career in the food industry.
From starting an events and catering business, hosting live cooking workshops, and zoom-based classes and training, to setting up a made-to-order takeaway service, and working at a renowned luxury spa resort – over the last 10 years Ruchi has amassed a huge amount of experience in the food and catering industry. During this time, she has honed her skills, and developed exciting and inspiring recipes, setting her up for the next chapter.
In November 2023, Ruchi realised her dream of owning a restaurant by purchasing The Beehive. Recognising its excellent reputation, character, picturesque location, and impressive accolades, she knew it was the perfect venue for her vision. Ruchi transformed it into Milaanj at The Beehive, bringing global inspired dishes with an Indian twist to life.
