We have had a fantastic summer and our Cricket Match vs White Waltham was a huge success. The success of these events is totally down to your support and for that we thank you. Our annual Cricket match is now a firm fixture and we look forward to making it bigger and better next year. Congratulations to White Waltham CC on a great win in a very competitive game.

I cannot believe we are now beginning the run up to Christmas. The Christmas Party menu is now live and lots of you are already planning your Christmas parties. This is always a busy time of year, please book early to avoid disappointment. This year we will be closed on Christmas day and Boxing day. We will be open at all other times during the festivities.

In August, we celebrated five years at the Beehive, it continues to be a wonderful journey and we are all very much enjoying being able to create a warm restaurant and pub for you to enjoy.

We are planning our program of winter events. We kick things off on Tuesday 15thOctober with a Winter Stew masterclass. Following this we will hold a Wild game masterclass. These masterclasses will offer some inspiring dishes for you to cook at home. As well as a two course lunch.

On the 18thNovember we see the return of our flavours of India dinner. The response to this event is always incredible and we now look forward to chef Abul Monsur returning to the Beehive. Due to the popularity of this event, we will aim to add a further date for our flavours of India dinners.

The change of season brings a new menu. Autumn brings some wonderful produce. Game is now at its best and we will be offering Roast Partridge with crab apple jelly, Hare Pies, Roast Teal, then Pheasant & Mallard later in the season.

October brings delicious scallops and the return of lemon sole, Cornish bass and amazing fresh Sprats. We pride ourselves on our fish and with daily deliveries from Looe in Cornwall our menu will always feature some of the best fish our UK waters have to offer.

Wild mushrooms, Cobnuts, Jerusalem artichokes, Apples, Pears and Blueberries will also feature on our menus. A delicious time of year in any kitchen.
